Submit Content & Edit Subpages

Example: Submit Content in "Communities" Page

#1- Submitting content is pretty simple. Start by logging in to the backend of your website. In the left sidebar, click on "Edit Pages", and then click "Content Pages".

#2- Once in your Manage Pages section, there is a list of pages that make your website. Let's try to submit content to the "Sharing Out Local Expertise" page. Click the "Edit" button.

3.- This will take you to the editing page. Here you will be able to enter your content, just type or paste it into the text box.

Note: If you paste and your text has a strange format, select the text and click Format Cleaning (Tx button) so the format doesn't clash with your page design!

4.- Once you have entered all the content, click on "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.

You can use this same process for all your pages.

Edit your Subpages

Subpages can have more than one function in the Brixwork back end, if you need to add or edit content to a subpage that is attached to a custom block on your website you can take a look at the support article specific to them: Submitting and Editing Content for Custom Blocks Using Subpages

#1. On your list of Pages, click on the icon "+" to see the page's subpages:

In this step you can:

  • Edit the existing subpages repeating the same process that you've learned above; or
  • Add a new subpage clicking on "+ Add Subpage" (only available in certain/customized pages); or
  • Create new topics/categories inside certain subpages by clicking on "+ Add subpage". It means that you will have the second level of subpages. For example, in the picture below, "Testimonial Slider" is already a subpage, but more subpages can be added to it. Each testimonial that you upload under "Testimonials" are their own subpage.

#2. For example, when clicking edit in this "Quick Link Blocks' subpage", the screen below will appear. Here you will enter the content that you want (Page Content, SEO, Admin Panel").

#3. To finish the process click on "Add Page" at the bottom of the page. Repeat the process with all the subpages.
