If you share a listing or page on Facebook, it might be that the image you wanted to show up for it is replaced by another one. This happens because Facebook caches information and therefore after a while, when images etc. have been changed on the URL, Facebook's information isn't up to date any more.

In this article you will learn how to fix that problem.

The link to the Facebook debugger:
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

You can use this tool when:

- Facebook picks up no photos when there is one (could be an error on Facebook's end or a slow network connection)

- Facebook has memorized the older version of the page when there was no photo

- Facebook has memorized the older version of the page when there was a different photo

Enter the URL for which you want the image to be changed. (http://bit.ly/1f23MDI is just an example)

Hit the blue "Debug" button below. By doing so, Facebook refreshes the cached information for the shared link.

Now click on "Scrape Again".

If you scroll down, you can see that the information Facebook has is now updated.

The last step is to go back to Facebook and share the listing or page again.
